Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how onehand operation ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the App.
Summary: onehand operation provides customizable edge gestures for one-handed Android control. The App uses an Accessibility Service to recognize gestures you intentionally perform and to execute the actions you choose. The App contains advertising.
Information We Collect
The App is designed to work mainly on your device. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not intentionally collect typed text, passwords, messages, contacts, photos, or files.
The App may process or store the following information:
- App settings: gesture bindings, hot zone settings, sensitivity, language preference, and related configuration. These settings are stored locally on your device.
- Accessibility events: limited event information needed to detect intentional edge gestures and perform selected system actions. This information is processed on the device and is not uploaded by us.
- Advertising data: because the App contains ads, third-party advertising partners may collect or receive information such as the advertising ID, device information, app activity related to ads, approximate location derived from network information, IP address, and ad interaction data. This may be used to provide, personalize, measure, and secure ads.
- Diagnostic data: if supported by your device, app store, or third-party services, crash or performance information may be processed to maintain and improve the App.
Accessibility Service Use
The Accessibility Service is used only for the App's core feature: detecting the edge gestures you intentionally trigger, showing gesture feedback, and performing actions you configure, such as Back, Home, Recents, notifications, screenshots, volume control, or other supported system actions.
We do not use the Accessibility Service to collect typed content, read private messages, monitor unrelated activity, or upload screen content to our servers.
Advertising
The App contains ads. Ads may be provided by third-party advertising networks or SDKs. These partners may use cookies, advertising IDs, device identifiers where permitted, and similar technologies to show ads, limit ad frequency, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
You may be able to reset or delete your Android advertising ID or manage ad privacy settings through your device settings. The availability of these controls depends on your Android version and Google Play services.
How We Use Information
Information is used to:
- Provide edge gesture detection and configured system actions.
- Save your preferences and app configuration.
- Display advertising and support ad measurement and fraud prevention.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the App.
- Comply with applicable laws, platform policies, and security requirements.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share or allow access to limited information in the following cases:
- With advertising partners and SDK providers to display and measure ads.
- With service providers that help operate, secure, or analyze the App.
- When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, the App, or others.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local settings remain on your device until you change them, reset the App, clear app data, or uninstall the App. Advertising and diagnostic data handled by third-party partners is retained according to those partners' policies and applicable law.
You can delete locally stored App data through Android system settings by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by the App. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Third-Party Services
The App may include third-party services, including advertising SDKs, app store services, or diagnostic tools. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted by updating this page and the effective date above. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
